Tesla's New Battery Breakthrough: Second Life CATL Batteries

With Tesla’s Battery Investor Day approaching, Tesla has been filing plenty of patents related to Tesla’s new battery technology. Recently, a report showed that Tesla has been developing a ‘second life’ battery that will also last for a million miles. Along with improved lifetime, these batteries will actually be cheaper than before. Ultimately, the goal is for Tesla to sell vehicles at an affordable price, which is what Tesla’s new battery will allow for.
